Role Summary The Test Engineer is responsible for developing test strategies and methods for the RF MEMS components, subarrays and completed phased during development and production. This will involve creating test systems, data collection and yield analysis for all phases of product development. Responsibilities The core responsibilities include:
  • Create detailed test and calibration plan based on product specifications
  • Develop test systems including hardware and control software
  • Implement statistical process controls on test system
  • Collect statistically significant data to verify the test system and test limits
  • Ensure the test and calibration plan delivers compliant product with high yields
  • Collect test data during development and production
  • Develop test requirements for subcontractors (OEM/OSATs)
Person Specification Essential
  • Bachelor/Master of Electrical Engineering
  • RF Testing experience for product design or final test
  • RF Test System design experience for design or final test
  • Knowledge and experience of product testing, yield improvement and correlation with characterisation data
  • Knowledge and experience transferring products from development to production
  • Experience using statistical tools and methods for data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability of working independently with minimal supervision
  • High levels of energy and the ability to work with both commercial and technical employees
  • Have analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Knowledge of developing phased array antennas
  • Experience developing test methods for high volume industrial or consumer products
  • Six Sigma Green or Black belt qualified
