Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated Graduate MEMS Packaging Engineer to join the Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact technology startup.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities include:

  • Support the development of MEMS and Antenna Subassembly packaging processes and materials.

  • Provide technical support to ongoing build schedules and manufacturing forecasts.

  • Conduct lab-based tests, collect and analyse data, and perform basic troubleshooting.

  • Participate in the design and execution of reliability tests.

  • Document and maintain existing build instructions, test results, process steps, and engineering changes clearly and accurately.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MEMS, RF, and Operations.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new techniques to enhance performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

  • Engage in training and continuous professional development.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.

  • Strong grasp of fundamental engineering principles.(e.g. design of experiment approach/ basic statistics) Problem-solving mindset with an eager to have a hands-on approach.

  • Clear technical writing and documentation skills.

  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and assist in coordinating small project components.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic R&D environment.

Desirable

  • 1 to 2 years of experience (including internships or placement years) in a relevant engineering environment.

  • Exposure to semiconductor packaging, MEMS, or RF technologies.

  • Familiarity with CAD tools (Solidworks), lab instrumentation (Microscope/Multimeter), or process development techniques.
