CEO
David is an established leader in the Wireless industry. He started his wireless career at RF Micro Devices and he has more than 23 years of experience as a leader in RF technology companies. Sofant is his 3rd CEO position in electronic hardware start-ups. His first two companies were successfully floated on public markets in the UK and Sweden. He has had achieved significant success developing early stage RF technologies and raising capital.

Ed Granville
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ed is a technology entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry. He co-founded Calvatec, a mixed-signal System-on-Chip technology company, which was subsequently acquired by Maxim Integrated Products. He has extensive expertise in semiconductor technology development and is currently an NXD at a number of small privately held companies.

Ilian Iliev
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dr. Ilian Iliev is CEO of NetScientific PLC and MD of EMV Capital, VC investor specialising in early stage high-growth deep tech companies in the life science, sustainability and industrials sectors in the UK and internationally. Prior to that, he co-founded and was CEO of CambridgeIP Ltd (2006-2012), which he built into a leading market and technology business intelligence provider in the UK. Ilian holds a PhD from Cambridge University’s Judge Business School, MCom in Economics and BA in Politics, Economics and International Relations from the University of Witwatersrand.

Craig Samuel
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Craig Samuel has joined the board of Sofant Technologies as a non-executive director. Craig brings more than 25 years of industry experience with executive leadership positions in UK, US & Chinese companies including Jersey Telecom, UT Starcom Inc., Unisys Corporation, Hewlett Packard Corporation, Compaq, and BP. His responsibilities have included CTO, Head of Technology & Business Transformation, Head of Strategy & IP, Mergers & Acquisitions as well as various General Management P&L positions. Craig has founded six technology start-ups in the UK and US as well as working closely with the US Government in both DoD/National Security and civilian programs. He is a regular advisor to Private Equity and Venture Groups on both sides of the Atlantic, and currently holds several private company board or advisory positions.
